Senior Recruitment Consultant
Job Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant
Reports To: COO, PriorityONE

Responsibilities:

  • You will use your recruiting skills to source, screen and interview software professionals in various key technologies like Microsoft.NET, J2EE, Oracle, SAP, embedded, telecom, semiconductor and other technologies.
  • You shall be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting including identification, opportunity selling, sourcing, engaging, scheduling and follow ups with both clients and candidates.
  • Identify and source prospective candidates through PriorityONE candidate database, internet sites and job portals, networking, technical institutes, job fairs and advertising
  • Responsible for sourcing qualified IT professionals from premier IT companies through networking and headhunting, for building effective relationships with candidates
  • Generate a pipeline of qualified candidates through the effective management of relationships with candidates.
  • Assist Account Manager(s) with urgent placement needs focusing client satisfaction
  • Excellent independent judgment and initiative to act well with PriorityONE’s policies and processes.
  • Attain monthly/quarterly quota of placements.
  • Work with management and senior technical personnel of Clients to determine resource needs and position requirements
  • Understand and qualify client requirements and find/match candidates against those requirements within stipulated timelines
  • Provide accurate tracking information of activities to the team lead, and come up with status reports and management reports
  • Comfortable in sales process, have persuasion skills and negotiation skills.
  • Facilitate interviews and coordinate assessments and interview schedules of candidates with management or technical personnel of Client, including occasional travel arrangements if needed.
  • Conduct background screenings and reference checks.
  • Convince candidates to join Client Company through the effective use of selling techniques, and doing aggressive follow ups.

Core Competence:

  • At least 2 - 4 years in technical recruiting with thorough knowledge of good recruitment practices
  • Well versed with the IT recruitment market and permanent staffing recruitment process with a proven track record
  • Familiarity with IT industry, technical issues and software terminology, and willing to learn more upcoming technologies
  • Familiar with Internet and office automation tools like MS Office, and comfortable with using technology in day to day operations
  • Brilliant interpersonal skills, people sensitivity and social skills
  • good written and oral communication, good presentation skills
  • Good self presentation, persuasive with good negotiation skills, sales approach to handle candidate objections
  • Ability to effectively screen applicants for core competencies and experience.
  • Experience in head hunting and networking , with the ability to build relationships with candidates.
  • Must be well-organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Effective time management and priority management
  • Ability to work in a results oriented, targets driven environment
  • Good team player, have flair to interact with internal team and outside people and build relationships across the industry.
  • Ability to work to earn professional respect by giving and getting best efforts of all involved.
  • Professional demeanor, ability to work well with the public, and all levels of management and staff.
  • Outgoing and mature personality with good sense of humor

Experience/Education:

  • 2-5 years of good experience in high volume corporate recruiting with success in achieving results
  • College degree (UG / PG : any stream) from a very reputed college ( B.Sc ( Information Technology), MCA, MBA, or Technical Engineering degrees preferred.)
  • Person having good sales, FMCG and advertising background and then moving into recruitment will also be considered

Preferable:

  • Long experience in recruitment services, especially IT sector
  • MBA degree
  • Previous account management experience
  • Sales Management experience
  • Technical background
  • Formal training in sales process and sales management process
